BTC Gives Families Something to be Thankful For This Thanksgiving

November 18, 2008

Sunday, November 9th, twenty members of the Boys Team Charity Freshmen Class of 2012 and their parent coaches came together to participate in their annual Team Project. This year, the Class generously chose to support Phoenix Rescue Mission’s Fill-A-Box Thanksgiving program. Each teammate brought food items for the boxes and the team used their annual team project funds to purchase gift cards for turkeys to accompany each box filled. In total, the BTC Class of 2012-Cactus League assembled 20 food boxes complete with turkeys for families served by the Phoenix Rescue Mission. We’re looking forward to working with these boys when they come to help hand out the Food Boxes at our distribution event on Saturday, November 22nd.

Boys Team Charity is a volunteer organization of young men and their parent coaches who volunteer to serve the greater community as a team from seventh grade through their senior year in high school.

We thank these young men for giving of their time and talents to families in their community. If you would like to donate to our Thanksgiving program, please download our flyer or visit the Volunteer section of for details.
